Rafael Nadal Tennis Centre opens in Marbella, CSN News

MARBELLA is soon to be home of a Rafael Nadal tennis centre as the star settles on the Costa del Sol. 

Soon, the Hotel Don Carlos in Marbella is going to have a Rafael Nadal Tennis Centre. 

This summer will see the opening of the Rafa Nadal Academy. It will consist of seven clay tennis courts, where all abilities and ages can participate in activities. 

The Selenta hotel group manages the centre, which aims at providing guests with high quality tennis instruction.

The event will also feature a small exhibit of Nadal’s Trophies, Padel Courts and a Nike and Babolat accessory shop. 

“I am very happy to announce the opening of the Rafa Nadal tennis center in Marbella. This will consolidate our expansion plan throughout Spain. Nadal added, “I’m certain sports fans will be delighted by our fantastic programmes and facilities.” 

This is the fourth opening of this kind after those in Mexico, Greece, and Hong Kong.

Nadal has tennis programmes in Egypt and Manacor in Kuwait.

The news comes amid rumours of a new academy being opened at the Centro de Raqueta in Malaga. 

Sierra Blanca is the promoter of this new development in Marbella. 

Mallorca was the origin of Nadal’s Tennis Academies. These have since been expanded in holiday resorts throughout Spain.
