The IV Senda Litoral Half Marathon ‘Ikos Andalusia Trophy,’ taking place on Sunday, May 4, has reached 200 registrations in under 48 hours. This milestone was achieved thanks to its discounted entry promotion, priced at €18. The fast uptake reflects the growing popularity of this Andalusian key event.
The registration fee is now set at €22 until April 13 or until all spots are filled. This year’s edition will be filled with exciting new features. For the first ever, the race is being broadcast live. Friends, family, and supporters can follow the race as it happens. To attract elite athletes, the prize pool was also increased to reward top finishers both in the overall category and local category.
A new runner’s package will feature a technical shirt of high quality, as well as exclusive gifts and sports gear provided by sponsors. Each finisher will be awarded a medal commemorating their accomplishment. The race will be concluded with a paella event and DJ music. This will turn the finish line in a vibrant celebration.
The 21.09 kilometres of the route offer a variety and challenge, from the coast path to Estepona’s old town. The event is organised by Estepona’s Town Hall and Club de Atletismo de Estepona. It is part of Spanish Athletics Federation Calendar and will be monitored by certified judges. Shuttle buses are available to participants for free.
