Malaga and coffee have a unique relationship. The city has a unique way of naming the different types of coffee, using terms as characteristic as ‘mitad’ (half coffee, half milk), ‘sombra’ (milk with a bit of coffee) or ‘nube’ (milk with a tiny drop of coffee), or even a ‘largo’ (lots of coffee with literally 2 drops of milk), is about as characteristically Malaga as it gets.
The quality of the coffee in the province is also increasing, as more and more places are focusing on quality, innovation, excellent service, and commitment to excellence.
Mi Casa Tu Casa in Marbella has been selected as one of the top coffee shops in Spain.
This popular Marbella breakfast stop-off in Avenida Antonio Belón 26 is listed on Tripadvisor as a specialist in coffee, homemade cakes, authentic Marbella breakfasts, and an exquisite fusion of Mexican flavours, strangely enough. Enjoying the food on its terrace in the pleasant Marbella weather is a great way to experience it.
The competition also includes three other coffee houses in Malaga: Next Level Coffee Shop, Mia Coffee Shop, Kima Coffee. Each of these has its unique style.
