VERSACE has been revealed as the latest fashion brand to join the booming luxury real estate market in Spain.
The Italian fashion house has signed a deal with RGZ Developers to furnish and put its name to at least eight villas in the hills of Nueva Andalucia.
It joins several other luxury brands who have put their name to ‘designer neighbourhoods’ in Marbella in recent years, including Dolce & Gabbana, Elie Saab, Karl Lagerfeld and Lamborghini.
Expected to cost at least €10 million each, the Versace homes will offer unparalleled panoramic views, five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
They will also feature a vertical atrium that will connect all three floors of the house.
The €10 million price tag will gradually increase as each plot is sold, by a maximum 35%, said RGZ.
According to Expanison magazine, each villa will comprise 1,032sqm, sitting on its own plot of 2,000sqm.
The resort will have several well-maintained gardens, personal wellness areas, and private security 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
Each villa will have multiple swimming pools, one of them heated.
