On Sunday and Monday, a strong westerly blowing brought extremely hot temperatures along the coast.

The average high temperature in Valencia was 18.5C, and the average low temperature was 10.5C.

After 2024, the figures were close to surpassing it.

Spain is at the forefront of Europe’s climate crisis as heatwaves are getting longer, more intense and frequent.

The warmer Mediterranean Sea was the cause of the DANA storm on October 29, which caused flooding in Valencia Province, resulting in two hundred and twenty-three deaths. Three people are still missing.
