Luis Rubiales’ trial for the Jenni-Hermoso kiss will begin on Monday.  The incident occurred after Spain’s women’s national football team defeated England in the World Cup Final 2023 in Sydney.  Rubiales – the then president of Spain’s Football Federation – grabbed Hermoso by the head as she was receiving the gold medal and kissed it on the lip.
