Spanish Tax Authorities to Crack Down on Facebook and Other Online Sellers – CNS News

Do you enjoy selling items on second-hand platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, Wallapop, eBay, or Milanuncios? Be warned: the Spanish tax authorities are now targeting individuals who may be using these platforms as an undeclared business. While casual sellers unloading an old table or miscellaneous items have nothing to worry about, those conducting over 30 transactions per year or earning more than €2,000 will fall under scrutiny as potential business traders. To make matters stricter, the selling platforms—including Facebook—are now required to share the information of these potential business sellers directly with the Spanish tax authorities. So, if you’re selling frequently, be prepared!
