Over the weekend, snow arrived in Murcia’s Northwest, turning the upper areas of Moratalla and Caravaca into winter wonderlands. The snow started within the Sierra de Revolcadores, spreading to different areas because the weekend went on.
Snow transforms Inazares and past
Inazares, at 1,350 metres above sea stage, was one of many first to see snow, adopted by the height of Buitre, which lies between Caravaca and Moratalla. Snow additionally affected Caravaca’s El Moralejo and El Hornico, together with Puerto Hondo in Moratalla.
Navigating snowy roads
Because the snow constructed up, roads in some areas grew to become tough to navigate, with snow chains wanted for drivers. For these wanting to absorb the snowy surroundings, locations like Campo de San Juan, El Calar de la Santa, and the Sierra de Villafuerte provide lovely views.
