Manilva Police free kidnapped victim within 16 hours

The Spanish National Police was able to rescue a Manilva man kidnapped in Sabinillas within 16 hours. Four suspects were arrested. The victim, seized on January 21, was forced into the trunk of a car and interrogated at gunpoint over a €30,000 drug-related fraud. The victim was held hostage, but managed to send video footage of the kidnappers as well as a picture of the interior of a vehicle and his location coordinates.

The officers used this evidence to identify vehicles that were linked to the crime, and they intercepted suspects on A7 highway. They freed the victim without injury.
