The majority of Spain has a severe weather warning due to strong winds, widespread rain and snow in the mountains. This is all because of Storm Herminia.
The red alert is the most severe for bad sea conditions near Galicia. There’s also a yellow one for wind and snow.
Orange warnings have been issued in Andalucia (including Aragon), Asturias (including Cantabria), Castilla-La Mancha (including Murcia), Castilla La Mancha and Valencia Community.

The yellow alerts have been activated in the Balearic Islands and Castilla y Leon.
Ruben del Campo of the Aemet state forecaster said that Herminia caused hurricane-force gusts over 120 km/h on Sunday, particularly in mountainous and coast areas.
He added that “in the Picos de Europa they exceed 150 kilometers”.
Waves of up to 10 meters could be seen until Tuesday morning, as a result of the maritime storms that have been active since Sunday off the coast.
They could reach up to eight metres in the Cantabrian sea.
Rain is expected to fall on the Iberian Peninsula, except for coastal areas.
Winds will begin to calm on Tuesday before a new storm, yet unnamed, arrives Wednesday.
Forecasters have predicted that there will be very cold winds from the north, accompanied by significant snowfalls on Thursday. Snow levels could reach between 500 and 700 meters.
Weather will be stable this weekend, with little rain.
Overnight frosts are expected in the inland regions, despite temperatures rising.
