Fuengirola council workers have finally finished renovation works on the Las Presas de Torreblanca Park, a remodelling that has cost an investment of over €350,000 and that has meant the planting of new species and the rehabilitation of the pathway.
The work began in October, and included the revitalization of this green space as well as rehabilitation of the walkway connecting the area of city to the beach.
Mayor Mula pointed out that ‘the drawn-out process has been long, but we can finally enjoy this green space, one of the most beautiful corners of Fuengirola,’ expressing enormous satisfaction with the result of the 1.8-kilometre trail project.
The budget for the works has amounted to €350,813.57, almost exactly the amount left over from the council’s 2023 budget, and carried out by the construction company Hormacesa.
‘It was a project that local people had been calling for over many years, particularly the residents of Torreblanca, and it has worked out to be a definite enhancement of this green zone, said the mayor.
