The majority of swimming teams that will be training at the Virgen Del Carmen III pool are from the UK. However, in the second month of this year, there will also groups from France and Norway. Most of the footballers who will arrive in town are from Switzerland. However, there will also teams from France and Germany as well as Denmark, Norway, and Denmark.

This nearly 1,000 athletes will join the 1,478 other athletes who have used Torremolinos facilities this year. Most of them are teams from the Netherlands. In 2024, Torremolinos saw a 47 percent increase in the sports tourism segment. This segment now has 4,691 visitors and 1,507 more athletes than in 2023.
