The 25th version of the International Event of Spanish Piano Songs (FIMTE) wrapped up with a remarkable efficiency by American pianist Dena Kay Jones.
Her show, De lado a lado, at Garrucha’s Cultural Centre, mapped Spanish-inspired songs from the 1500s to the 20th-century progressive, mixing background with an individual touch that mesmerized the target market. Jones’s descriptions in between items boosted the link, producing an intimate and interesting environment.
