Authorities warn of accident threat in a number of fashions of a well known bike model – CSN Information

A warning has been issued by Spain’s Dirección Common de Consumo for a number of Triumph motorbikes fashions which have a defect that might endanger riders as a result of threat of it sparking an accident. The defect is a fault within the present regulator connector wires which may type a bridge if uncovered to excessive temperatures, excessive present hundreds or extreme lateral traction on the wiring.

The next fashions are affected:

Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black (2021-2024 fashions), Avenue Twin, Avenue Twin Goldline, Avenue Scrambler, Avenue Scrambler Sandstorm (2021-2022 fashions), Velocity Twin 900 and Scrambler 900 (2023-2024 fashions).

Triumph Bikes Spain has contacted homeowners of the affected fashions to rectify the fault by becoming a brand new cable alignment clip.
