An international evening of poetry in the Axarquía – Costa Spain News

A night of verse and songs commemorating the life of among Spain’s favorite poets, Salvador Rueda, that was birthed in Benaque in the Axarquía in 1857, is occurring on Saturday 5 October at the Cerro San Cristóbal amphitheater in Vélez-Málaga.

British author and poet Christopher Reid and Irish poet Rósín Tierney will certainly read in English and Axarquía-based poet Ana Melendo Lecea will certainly read in French.

There is additionally songs by the band Swingate along with verse analyses in Spanish. ‘Rueda que te Rueda’ beginnings at 8.30 pm and is complimentary.
