All councillors, regardless of their political affiliation, voted to overhaul the chapel in San Antonio.

The PP, PSOE, and UCIN all agreed unanimously at the 30th January plenary to build a new petrol pump on the Albox – Murcia road.

Juan Domingo Navarro from the Culture Council explained that this project has been in the works since 2010, the last time the chapel had undergone repairs.

“We have formed a work group consisting of Santa Maria churchgoers, residents, technicians and restoration specialists,” Navarro explained.

All could contribute to estimating the total cost of these projects before submitting it to the provincial council for approval.

Andalucia’s regional government also announced that the Albox Health Centre would be completed by the end February.  The Junta had to cancel the contract it had signed with the contractor for not completing the work in time.
