Followers of the British hard rock scene of the 1970s will certainly appreciate a show at the Vinilo Coffee Shop Club (Avenida de Salvador Vicente) in Benalmádena on Saturday 10 January.
Billed as ‘hard rock satisfies trans-European steel nightclub’, the performance will certainly include 2 popular bands on the Costa del Sol’s alternate songs scene: The Zex Pistols and Sangia Furlo.
The just recently created Zex Pistols execute a homage to the British band fronted by Johnny Rotten that were leaders of the hard rock scene that took off onto the London songs scene in 1976. The team’s collection contains the tunes from The Guns’ innovative cd, Don’t bother the Bollocks, Right Here’s the Sex Guns, together with variations of various other widely known punk tunes from that period.
The Mijas-based Sangria Furlo, which created in 2022, mix components of punk, indie, grunge, psychedelia, acid rock and power pop, which they call “an effective audio with a retro-futuristic, combative, ariose, dark and funny personality”.
The team, comprised of Irish, English, Swedish and Ukrainian artists, launched their launching cd, Trans European Steel Nightclub, previously this year, a collection which contains their very own make-ups.
The evening assures to recreate the feel of a subcultural transformation that transformed the face of contemporary songs on both sides of the Atlantic in the center of the 1970s.
The performance, which is totally free, begins at 10.30 pm.
