British tourist in his 60s collapses and dies in Spain while waiting to board Ryanair flight home


A BRITISH tourist has died while waiting to board his flight home from Spain.

The man, aged in his 60s, collapsed in the boarding area of Reus Airport on July 21, it emerged today.

The unnamed Brit was waiting to take a Ryanair flight back to Leeds.

Paramedics were called to the scene but were unable to revive the passenger.

The man had recently received treatment for an unknown health issue at a hospital in Tarragona, near Barcelona, according to reports.

Spanish police have not revealed any more details, other than that he is thought to have died from natural causes.

Authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
