Clarence Jazz Club hosts a night of soulful blues featuring the internationally acclaimed Mama Paula Blues Band.

Mama Paula, a multi-talented musician, is known for her mastery of electric guitars, keyboards and vocals. Her deep, bluesy talent and energy have captured audiences around the world and are now on the Costa del Sol.

Mama Paula’s career demonstrates her unwavering passion for blues. She has performed in the Royal Albert Hall, alongside guitarist legends Mark Knopfler Van Morrison and Joe Cocker. Her stage presence was also a part of collaborations with icons, such as Mud Waters (son of blues giant Muddy), Suzi Quintro, Alan Price and Jimmy James. Mama Paula’s humble beginnings on Route 66 where she convinced a sceptical Club Owner to give her a try, have led to her becoming a respected figure within the blues world.

Clarence hosts Mama Paula at 10pm on March 5, 2019. Tickets for Mama Paula at The Clarence Jazz Club cost between €10 and €12, available in advance online at the Clarence website.
