The Palacio de la Paz in Fuengirola will host a captivating performance of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ by Ukraine’s Premiera Classic Ballet Company on Tuesday, April 1 at 8pm.

This is the first time the Ukrainian Ballet Theatre has performed in Spain. It’s been called one of the cultural highlights of the year. Premiera has performed more than 600 shows around the world. Now, they are bringing Prokofiev’s iconic score and Shakespeare’s timeless love story for the first-time to Fuengirola.

The production promises to be a stunning spectacle, with elaborate costumes and a choreography that is elegant and emotive, capturing the Verona lovers’ romance, their family rivalries, as well as their tragic separation.

This is a rare opportunity to experience classical ballet in the Palacio de la Paz, and witness this troupe’s detailed staging and spectacular storytelling. Premiera’s repertoire includes 14 ballets classics and over 1,000 costumes. They have toured across Poland, Germany Austria Switzerland, The Netherlands, Slovenia Croatia Greece China. Spain is now welcoming two of Premiera’s most stunning, never-before seen works.

This performance combines Prokofiev’s soul-stirring musical compositions with a story of love that defies death. It offers Fuengirola audience a night filled with world-class artistry, and deep emotion.
