The celebrations for International Women’s Day will include a variety of activities including talks, workshops and cultural performances.

One of the most notable events is the Panel on Communication, Equality, and Sport scheduled for 6 March at 12 PM in the Palacio de la Paz. The discussion will include notable local women in sport including:

Lourdes Tebas is a handball player from the locality.

Silvia Arderius plays handball for the Spanish National team.

Alba Lopez is a sports psychology.

The celebrations will also include special events designed for schoolchildren, seniors and the general community.
