John George latest: The family of a murdered Belfast father flew to Spain to track down his killers. CSN News


John George’s family has decided to return to Spain, in an effort to get answers about the murder of their loved one.

They will return to the spot where their son was found soon.

John, a Belfast father of two who was reported missing by his family in mid-December, was found dead on 7 January near a Rojales Road (about 10 kilometres from Torrevieja).

He was stripped and stabbed to the legs in order to render him incapacitated before being killed.

Three days after he was informed that he was under investigation as a suspected accomplice in the murder, a 32-year old man from the Czech Republic had been released on bail.

Both the suspect and his accomplice remain on-the-run.

Billy, John’s father, now says that he must return to Spain in order to get justice for John, after stating earlier that he never would return.

He told the reporter, “I felt like I needed to go back. So that’s what we are planning to do.” Belfast Telegraph.

He visited Spain briefly on 20 December to file a missing persons report.

John vanished a few weeks after his arrival on the Costa Blanca.

A postmortem autopsy determined that his death occurred just hours after his last conversation with his father on December 14,

The alleged killer is on the lam with a suspected accomplice. An international arrest warrant has been issued.

Interpol is coordinating the investigations of the Guardia Civil, with the belief that the fugitives may be in Europe.

Thailand appears to be the home of a third individual who found rental property that was used as marijuana farm for an alleged killer.

Two people were summoned to testify in front of a Torrevieja court on the 31st January.

Sharon, John’s mom, said: “I have to go and find where John’s corpse was left.”

I must see it for my own sake.

Billy George said: “If you think we’ll forget over time, then you are wrong.”

We will not stop until justice is served for our son.
