Tutto bene, generations’ secrets of a Fuengirola Italian family – Costa News Spain

It is no surprise that the Malaga region excels at Italian cuisine. This region was considered to be an extension of Rome and to have been born in Malacca meant to be a thoroughbred Roman.

One of the region’s finest Italian restaurants, and no more authentic can it be than Tutto Bene in Fuengirola, is an Italian so sincerely Italian in personality, it instantly calls for adding to the ‘must’ list.

The trattoria is run by Italians Federico and Nicolò Ramazzoto, fourth and fifth generations of a family legacy of hoteliers that dates back to 1890, when their ancestors opened the family’s first restaurant.

Since their first establishment in Italy, Federico and Nicolò have continued to perfect their culinary skills, learning to carefully select the Italian ingredients they use in each dish, each one paying homage to their family roots, closely guarding generations-old recipes of la cucina della nonna.

Tutto Bene’s pinsa is one of the many family secrets.

Pinsa is one of the house’s specialties. This is different from pizza and focaccia because of the longer fermentation time, finer flour, and smaller bread base. The homemade pasta, however, is a unique experience outside of Italy. It’s filled with goat cheese, beetroot, and other ingredients.

The restaurant also offers a wide selection of gluten-free meals, a great Italian wine list and Italian products that you can buy and bring home. The restaurant does not allow you to eat pasta with a fork. This isn’t America.

Tutto Bene is in Calle de la Cruz, 3, Fuengirola. The weekends fill up fast, so you’ll need to call 951 135 796 in advance.
