‘All the artists loved working for Ron Terre at his club Moonlighters,’ says Alexandra. ‘He treated us with respect and was always professional. He was able to make us feel as if we were family. He treated us with staff outings and barbecues at his home.
‘Moonlighters was ‘the’ place to go. Entertainment didn’t start until 11pm. Ron would start at 1am. There was also karaoke till the customers left, usually 6am. There was a lot of laughter, dancing and drinking.
Daughter Heather Brooks-Wilson, said of Ron that he was ‘especially by his children and grandchildren. His wisdom, humour and charm touched many people’s lives. We are comforted by the knowledge that he has no longer suffered and is reunited with parents, siblings, sons, his companion and many other loved ones.
