Rock’n’Roll classics are as popular today, as they were in the 1950s.
Over the past 30 years, a number of bands from Northern Europe have embraced the sounds of Rockabilly, Rhythm and Blues, Rock’n’Roll, and classic American music.
Hal Peter’s Trio, The Barnshakers and other groups from Finland have been influenced by the look and sound of the 1950s. One of the most renowned of these groups is now in Fuengirola.
Tina Bednoff & The Cocktailers perform at Hima Live, in Fuengirola, on Thursday, February 6.
This band, with its classic sound, features Tina as the vocalist. Bass, drums, piano and Buddy Guy are also part of this group. Jump, Sister, Jump, their highly-recommended album on El Toro Records, became a benchmark in the Rockabilly community.
Hima Bar is preparing a perfect evening of driving grooves, twanging guitarists and one of the most experienced in the industry. This will earn the respect of anyone from the southern United States Rock’n’Roll Community.
