Yellow warning for torrential downpour The current policy is in effect until midnight tonight (Thursday 20th March) Costa Del Sol. The Spanish weather agency AEMET predicts a total accumulation of rain of 20mm per hour during the warning period. Thunderstorms are also predicted, as well as strong winds. Yellow is the lowest of the warning levels.
The latest severe weather warning comes after two weeks of severe weather On the Costa Del Sol which has been battered by gale-force winds, torrential rainfall, flooding and even a Tornado warning!
