A GAY Councillor has claimed that he has been physically assaulted and homophobic slurs by staff in a kebab store.
The incident took place on Tuesday, at an office in Lorqui (Murcia), but the ESdiario News portal reported Friday that the owner of a shop has a different perspective on what happened.
Victor Saez, who is the councillor for Youth, Celebrations, Tourism, as well as LGTBIQ Rights in the city, filed a report with the police last Thursday.

The attack on the socialist councillor took place on the night of the Bando de la Huerta festival.
Saez posted on social media that he suffered ‘homophobic aggression by the shop owner and his waiters’.
The 32-year-old says he was hit several times by the staff who called him a ‘f—k–g f—-t’.
Saez and a friend ordered a Kebab. After the kebab was served, Saez asked for bathroom keys as it was locked.
When he requested a complaint form and was not given the keys, things escalated.
Victor Saez: “The owner of the kebab shop lunged at my saying that I shouldn’t talk to his girl.”
He then threatened me, he added: ‘I’ll kill you, f—-t, I’m going to kill you, I’m going to cut your throat.”
Saez said that the waiters who were behind the bar came out and began beating him.

Video footage captured the events, including the councillor getting punched several times in the face and being thrown to ground.
Other shocked customers stepped in.
It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. ESDiario The news portal covered the events of Tuesday from a new angle on Friday.
It is reported that the shop owner filed a police report against Saez. He accuses him of throwing a stool after he wasn’t allowed to use the toilet.
He is accused of breaking a window and shouting racial slurs like ‘sh—y Moors’ before asking for a complaint form, which was initially refused because of his alleged behaviour.
Saez was taken to the hospital after a hand swelled.
“It’s the second time I’ve been attacked because I am homosexual. I’m sick of it. It’s enough! He said.
The PSOE Socialist party general-secretary in Murcia, Francisco Lucas, said: “It is unfortunate that these situations continue to occur and we strongly condemn the homophobic aggression suffered by Victor Saez.·”
He added, “What happened is totally unjustifiable”.
