THIS is the dramatic second police in Spain launched a rescue operation amid freak summer time floods within the Balearic Islands.

Movies shared by the Guardia Civil present helicopters flying above a big space of flooded land on the island of Menorca on Thursday.

It got here after a so-called DANA climate entrance introduced extreme storms and rainfall, inflicting rivers and streams to overflow.
