TOWIE star James Argent arrested for ‘pushing Miss Sweden girlfriend down steps’ in Spain’s Costa del Sol


Former reality TV actor James Argent received a six-month sentence with a suspended jail term after he admitted to domestic violence committed against his model girl friend.

After a violent argument, Argent, the ex-TOWIE star, pushed Nicoline Artursson (32), his former Miss Sweden, down the stairs of her apartment on Costa del Sol. The Sun reported.

Artursson was hospitalized after the incident. Artursson’s neighbours in La Cala de Mijas contacted the police when they heard him scream.

Argent then spent several hours in an arrest cell before appearing in court at Fuengirola, where he admitted to a domestic violence accusation. 

Insiders have confirmed that the man was sentenced to a six-month jail term with a suspension and a two year restraining against his girlfriend, who he has known for eleven months. The Sun It is no longer a couple’s relationship.

He was also ordered to complete a ‘resocialisation course in the field of gender violence’.

Artursson, the former boyfriend of Gemma Collins, has now chosen to stay on the Spanish coastline.

Argent has become a star after appearing on The Only Way Is Essex From 2010 to 2018, The show also featured other reality stars including Jump!.

He struggled with his weight and underwent gastric-sleeve operation in 2021 after it ballooned to 27 stones.

Artursson, meanwhile, has worked as a model for top brands including Abercrombie & Fitch, and in 2011 represented her native Sweden at the 2011 Miss World beauty pageant.
