ASTON MARTIN FINISHES HIS TRAVELS

The Spaniard, who was stopped at a checkpoint near Majadahonda around 2.20am, accelerated in his luxury car and led the Guardia Civil in a high-speed pursuit.

He ran away towards the M-503, starting and zipping through several streets, endangering other road users.

The Guardia vehicle was parked at the entrance of the M-503 in order to block him, but he rammed into it.

They were able jump to safety and avoid injury.

The Aston Martin was able to show its high-speed capabilities until the thief lost the control of the vehicle at kilometer 6, when he hit a median, causing a tyre to burst.

He did not give up, and ran under his own power for a few meters until he was caught by the Guardia Civil.

We can only hope that the Aston Martin’s owner was fully insured.
