Shock As Two Scottish Men Shot In Costa Del Sol Bar
Two Scots were killed by a gunman who opened fire in a popular Irish bar on the seafront of Fuengirola. Around 11pm on Saturday, the shootings took place in Monaghans Bar where tourists and locals were watching the UEFA Cup final. The masked gunman shot both victims twice in the chest as he entered the bar. The first man died instantly, and the second as emergency services attempted to save him. The gunman is said to have fled from the scene by foot, then escaped into a waiting vehicle.

A gunman killed Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons Jr. in Fuengirola.
Eddie Lyons Jnr, age 46, and Ross Monaghan (owner of the bar) are the victims. Both men have been accused of having links with organised crime in Scotland as well as on the Costa Del Sol. It is believed that Mr. Monaghan’s wife was in the bar when the murders took place, but she escaped injury. Yet, no arrests have yet been made.
