Quiz in Duquesa for young skaters

You can mark Thursday, June 20, in your calendar if you like a good quiz night and support a local cause. The Rose and Thistle pub in Duquesa will host a fun night of quizzes to raise money for Jenni’s Skating Academy, which has skaters in Manilva and San Martin del Tesorillo.

Children aged 9 to 13 years old have been selected to compete in the WIFSA International World Championships of Inline Figure Skating, which will be held this June. The competition is taking place overseas, and funds raised from the fundraisers will be used to pay for their travel, accommodation, and competition attire.

The quiz begins at 8pm, and it costs only 3 euros for each person to participate. Bring a team along or just come and play on the night. This is a fun way to meet people, have a laugh and support a local charity.

It promises to a be a fun evening filled with friendly competition. All proceeds will go towards helping the five skaters realize their dream of competing on the international scene.
