Pet Shop Boys – night of pop brilliance at Starlite

The Costa del Sol is in for a treat, as the legendary British synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys – Neil Tennant & Chris Lowe – will headline the prestigious Starlite Occident Festival in Marbella, on Wednesday July 16. 

Fans are excited by the announcement, as it marks the duo’s first return to the venue in more than 10 years for their greatest hits.

The concert will be part of the “Pet Shop Boys Dreamworld The Greatest Hits Live Tour” and trace the duo’s long career, spanning over four decades. The Guinness Book of World Records has declared Pet Shop Boys the most popular British duo of UK music history. They have had 22 Top 10 singles in the UK, including four chart-topping hits – “West End Girls”, “It’s a Sin”, “Always on My Mind”, and “Heart”. The duo sold over 100 millions records worldwide, and has received three Brit awards along with numerous Grammy nominations.

Pet Shop Boys at Starlite – part of first-ever greatest hits tour

The “Dreamworld”, their first greatest hits tour in North and South America, Europe, the UK and Australia, has already generated a lot of buzz. The show has been praised by critics, including the Evening Standard, Metro, and the Times.

Pet Shop Boys’ unique sound and theatrical elements, as well as their collaborations and artistic vision with such artists and directors as Derek Jarman (Zaha Hadid), Sam Taylor-Wood (Es Devlin), and Tom Scutt will be recorded in history.
