As the sun sets, Mijas comes alive with the sounds and flavours of Spain. Mijas Iberica Parque Andalucia will be reopening on June 6th and 7th. This popular event brings everything that people love about Spanish cuisine and culture together, with a focus on music, local products and ham.
It is now in its third year. Mijas Iberica Offers two evenings with food, drinks and entertainment. Visitors can enjoy Iberian products from 6pm to midnight. These include Spanish hams, cheeses and cured meats as well as wine, cocktails, and wines. All prices are affordable, so locals and tourists can enjoy the festivities.
Throughout the festival, live music will create a vibrant atmosphere for families and friends to relax and enjoy the traditional Spanish cuisine. On Friday night, the weekend’s highlight will be the national ham cutting contest. Six of the best cutters in Spain will compete to win a spot in the finals at Alimentaria in Barcelona.
