La Cala de Mijas, Spain will be transformed into a pirate paradise with a themed marketplace from June 13th to 15th. The parking lot along the boulevard will host the event, which promises a fun-filled family weekend.

There will be stalls with food, handmade crafts, and other items, along with a wide range of entertainment. The area will have nautical and pirate themes, creating a fantasy environment for families. Children can participate in 20 traditional games, as well as creative workshops and other activities.

Five different parades will take place over the course of the weekend. There will also be a special performance by Sergio Rey, winner of the Max Awards 2022, and Irene Gutierrez. The highlight will be a fireshow that will light the night sky on Saturday.

Mijas’ town hall organised this event as part its ongoing efforts in bringing life and creativity to that area. Councillor Melisa ceballos invited everyone to take part in what she called a unique event.

The market is open from Friday 6pm until 9:30pm. Saturday 11am till 10pm. Sunday 11am till 8:30pm. There is no entry fee and there is no need to book.

This pirate market is a must-see for families looking to spend a weekend together.
