Jet2 make thousands of Free Child Places available for family holidays –

Jet2, already the leading tour operator in the UK, is now setting its sights on becoming the number one travel provider for families. In a bold move, the company has significantly expanded its Free Child Place program, adding millions of additional seats for children in their package holidays.

Millions of free child places will be available for both this summer and the next, extending through to the summer of 2025, making it the biggest ever Free Child Place offer in Jet2holidays’ history.

These seats will be available across all UK airports served by Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, including the newest addition to their network, Bournemouth Airport, set to open in February 2025.

Popular family destinations include the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, mainland Spain, and other competitors such as Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Italy, Malta, Croatia, and Bulgaria.

The announcement comes at a crucial time as British families are planning their holidays.

“As an award-winning tour operator and a ‘Which? Recommended Provider’ for family holidays, we always strive to enhance the family holiday experience. We know this announcement will be a huge boost. Contrary to popular belief, there is not an infinite amount of capacity for sale, and with so many people booking their well-deserved holidays, our advice is to act now before it’s too late,” said Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.

Jet2holidays has over 18.2 million seats on sale for the summer of 2025 across sun, leisure, and city destinations throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Canary Islands. This represents the company’s largest summer program to date, complementing a summer 2024 program with more than 17.1 million seats available.
