A British tycoon’s Marbella mansion has hit the market for a staggering €70 million, making it the most expensive house for sale in Spain.

Villa Bellagio is located in Sierra Blanca – the most exclusive private area of Spain – and has amenities that would have made Roman emperors swoon.

The mystery Brit owner keeps five Ferraris in his garage, including one worth €3.5 million that has covered just 57 kilometres.

The three-storey behemoth will be completed in 2022 after only two years of construction. It covers 5,500 square meters on a plot measuring 14,000 square metres.

The day after the construction, 400 guests attended the wedding of the owner’s daughter.

The mansion’s centerpiece is a magnificent fountain that is an exact copy of the Bellagio Hotel’s display in Las Vegas.

It can shoot water, music, and lights perfectly synchronised to your favourite tune.

There are 13 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms in the house, as well as four separate kitchens. The master bedroom is 130 square meters.

The walk-in wardrobes could easily house a Spanish family.

The basement is a 1,000-square-metre entertainment zone with professional bowling, a pool room, table hockey, airhockey, and 22 reclining seats in a cinema that rivals premium UK cinemas.

The British owner collects world mansions like stamps. He has three daughters and many grandchildren.

He visits Marbella only for a few weeks or days at a time. Danielle, an expat Briton who has been his right-hand person for the past four years, takes care of all the daily running.

“I come here to work,” laughs Danielle, who controls everything from her mobile phone – from raising blinds to heating the indoor pool by a single degree.

There are cameras all around, but I’m sure my boss wouldn’t mind if i fancied a swim.”

Two swimming pools are also available on the property: one outdoor pool measuring 22 metres and another heated indoor pool where you can swim in the opposite direction of a current.

This is the ultimate in luxury living. With Puerto Banus literally on your doorstep, and views that stretch to Gibraltar and Morocco’s coast.

The only question is: who’s got €70 million burning a hole in their back pocket?
