This brake fluid fiasco is a mirror image of a defect that was previously reported on Kia vehicles manufactured in the same period. Hyundai and Kia belong to the same group of automobiles, explaining why this fault can appear on multiple models and brands.

Hyundai owners who own the following models should take special care:
Santa Fe, H1, and IX55 (2007–2014).
Accent, Tucson, Genesis, and IX35 (2009–2014).
The alert only applies to specific units manufactured between these years. However, the exact number in Spain is still unknown. If the problem affects all models produced during that period, it is estimated that up to 50,000 vehicles could be affected.
