Cudeca volunteers – seeking more.

The Cudeca Foundation launched its summer campaign “Make Your Summer Matter for Someone Else” to ensure that its charity shops are fully staffed throughout the busy summer months.
This initiative asks Costa del Sol residents for a few hours of volunteer work each week in Cudeca shops. Many regular volunteers cannot do this due to family or personal commitments, holidays, etc.
Cudeca’s charity shops serve as recycling hubs, and also provide funding for free palliative services for patients with advanced diseases and their family members. In order to keep the charity’s operations running, new volunteers are needed urgently due to the summer staffing shortage. Customers can help with sorting and tagging donations, accepting contributions, decorating and performing cashier duties. Volunteers must be in good health and have a customer-oriented attitude. They also need to commit to a weekly schedule. Cudeca offers flexible scheduling and training.
Volunteering can offer many rewards to the individual, such as a sense purpose, new friends, language practice and validation of university credits, plus the satisfaction that comes from helping families in need.
Interested individuals can contact the Volunteer Department at 671 048 304, email voluntariado@cudeca.org, or visit www.cudeca.org Fill out the form. QR codes are also available on posters and in local shops.
Join Cudeca to make a difference this summer in the lives those who are facing end-of life care.
