Alan and Jenny Boardman go above and beyond to raise funds for worthy charities. In fact, not only do they go above and beyond but they travel around the world.
What else could we do? What could be better than doing what you love and helping others at the same time? The thing is, the Boardmans love to move, and I don’t mean necessarily on the dance floor (although, Jenny has got some moves…).
Alan and Jenny Boardman completed the Camino de Santiago. It was a test of endurance and determination. They did it to raise money for Cudeca. The couple received their official stamp at the Cathedral Santiago de Compostela Archcathedral Basilica in Santiago, Galicia on Tuesday, June 10.
They feared thunderstorms, high temperatures, blisters and uncomfortable ‘pensiones’ (boarding houses), and they could have said ‘blow this’ at any moment. But they didn’t. But they didn’t. Jenny and Alan Boardman never do this. They never give up. They know that others depend on them achieving their goal, so they follow through.
Well done Alan. Well done Jenny. You are an example to us all. You’ve done us proud again!
