Woman stabbed to death during mass street fight involving Bulgarian rivals in Alicante area

A woman was stabbed and killed during a mass street fight between Bulgarian rivals near Alicante

A violent mass brawl that broke out in a Villena road resulted in the fatal stabbing of a woman with a blade.

Guardia Civil arrested three men aged between 23 and 40, and one woman age 18 in the last few days.

On Wednesday, around 12.30 am, a melee between two groups of Bulgarians allegedly took place on Calle Lepanto.

The man, 23, has been charged with the murder of the 42-year-old woman. Meanwhile, the other accused are accused of injuring her.

The victim, two men and the injured woman were brought to Elda General Hospital.

Residents reported hearing a woman shouting in distress and asking someone to call the authorities.

Earlier on, the Villena Policia Local were told about two groups of ‘East Europeans’ throwing tables and chairs at each other at a bar on Avenida de la Constitucion.
